Text description provided by the architects. Inserted in a residential area with a strong growth in the last decade, the Agudela house is inserted in a plot of 350m2, enjoying a generous sun exposure and proximity to the sea.
The desires of the customer where adapted in order to setup a home with plenty of character that resulted in a sober and rational construction.
A strong black volume, where openings are carved, creating light entrances and patios, enhancing relations with the outside and especially with the light from south and west.
The body of the garage was integrated in the house, creating a service patio on the north side and a sheltered passage for the house entry, allowing the south side to be occupied for recreational proposes, with pool, deck and garden.
The house is divided into three floors, the first being for the common areas, living room, kitchen, laundry and garage. In the middle floor we have the bedrooms and office, and a kind of attic in the last level, where a more intimate and reserved room is settle, also beneficing from a south facing terrace.
